To start with I just want to thank LIA for putting on the event and bringing everyone together for what is and was a great experience. Coming home and sharing what I learnt with my partner and colleagues made me realise how much I learnt.
I really enjoyed Nick's talk and seeing how R/GA approaches solving the clients problems with such an open minded process.
Amir was as always brutally honest which allowed us to ask him anything and everything. The speech he gave the day before to prepare a question for his talk was a good call which might even be worth considering for other speakers.
Daymond was a surprise hit. Everyone I spoke to whilst having drinks after loved him. The power of broke was a good way to show entrepreneurial creativity.
Sitting in on the judging was an interesting experience. As a young creative it gave me a good insight into the process and reassured me that it is thoroughly thought through (I was in the Non-Traditional room which went from 9am to 8pm).
In summary it was a fantastic way to spend a week. Not only did I learn from the leading figures in our industry but from the many young creatives (now friends) from around the world.
