Ogilvy & Mather Mumbai Wins 4 Silver and 4 Bronze Statues at the 24th London International Awards
Ogilvy & Mather Mumbai dominated the Indian Statue tally at the 2009 London International Awards. They won 4 Silver Statues; three for Print - Confections/Snacks and one for Print - Consumer Campaign and 4 Bronze Statues; three for Poster - Confections/Snacks and one for Poster - Consumer Campaign.
DDB Mudra Mumbai is the only other Statue winner, with a Bronze in Radio - Public Service/Social Welfare.
Finalists include Leo Burnett Mumbai in Design - Point-of-Sale and Publicis India, Gurgaon in Integrated Campaign.
"Once again, India has demonstrated their creative ability in the field of Print and Poster.
We are confident we will see even more good work emerging from there in the next year," said Barbara Levy, President of London International Awards.
This year from the total number of 13,117 entries from 78 countries, only 0.56% won Gold, 1.28% Silver, 1.5% Bronze and 1.45% Finalists.
The London International Awards, which was conceived in London in 1986, has established itself as a global leader, honouring Advertising, Design and Digital media. For the past 24 years the iconic LIA has been raised worldwide, celebrating the power of ideas and recognising the Legends, Iconoclasts, and Avatars of creative excellence.
