LIA Announces Rob Reilly as
2016 Branded Entertainment Jury President10 May 2016
(New York, 10th May 2016) – Rob Reilly, Global Creative Chairman of McCann Worldgroup, has been named the Jury President for Branded Entertainment in the 2016 London International Awards (LIA).
Branded Entertainment encompasses any piece of content that is made with a brand’s personality, positioning and marketing objectives in mind. Its primary intention is delivering an enjoyable and engaging experience to consumers.
On judging Branded Entertainment at LIA, Rob commented, "I always like being part of categories that are ever changing and nothing is evolving as quickly as branded entertainment. Plus it doesn't hurt that the judging takes place in the city that feels like one big, crazy, fun and freaky branded space as Las Vegas."
Rob joined McCann Worldgroup in 2014, and since then has been responsible for the company’s global vision, with offices in over 100 countries. Under his leadership, McCann has grown significantly in both size and creative reputation, including being placed on Advertising Age’s 2016 A-List, McCann’s first appearance in 15 years.
Rob’s work has been recognized at every awards festival imaginable. He is a member of The One Club Board, the Facebook Creative Council and The White House Entrepreneurship Task Force, as well as a chairman for the Ad Council Campaign Review Committee. During the LIA 2014 judging, Rob chaired The NEW Jury and spoke at Creative LIAisons, back when it was known as Creative Conversations.

London International Awards (LIA) is a global festival honoring creativity and new ideas in Advertising, Production, Digital, Design, Music & Sound, Technology and Branded Entertainment. The awards, founded in 1986 by President Barbara Levy, began by honoring advertising in the realms of Cinema, Television, Print and Radio, evolving since its inception into 16 unique media types. It was the first truly international advertising awards of its kind to acknowledge all media and methods from all over the world to be judged by a diverse global jury. Every member on each Jury Panel, including the Jury President, judges all entries, excluding their own work, in their respective media.
