AUSTRALIA TAKES HOME 27 STATUES AT 2019 LONDON INTERNATIONAL AWARDS

BBDO was named Regional Network Of The Year for Australia / New Zealand
CHE Proximity was named Regional Agency Of The Year for Australia / New Zealand
Meerkats, Perth was named Regional Independent Agency of the Year for Australia / New Zealand
FINCH, Sydney was named Regional Production Company Of The Year for Australia / New Zealand
The Editors, Sydney was named Regional Post-Production Company of the Year for Australia / New Zealand
Cue Sound was named Regional Radio & Audio Company of the Year for Australia / New Zealand

Today, London International Awards, one of the world’s most prestigious Global award shows, announces its winners in the Advertising, Design, Digital, Technology, Health & Pharma, and Branded Entertainment.
 
Created for creatives, LIA has the highest caliber of jurors in all disciplines. Our jury rooms welcome the press, LIAisons attendees and LIA guests throughout the entire process. LIA’s Annual judging which convened over a 10-day period at Encore Las Vegas has concluded and listed below are the Statue Winners and Finalists. 
 
Australia scores 27 Statues at LIA 2019 – three Gold, 11 Silver and 13 Bronze, they also attained eight Finalist.
 
In total, 531 LIA statues and 196 Finalists were awarded from 39 countries with the United States leading with 242 awards, followed by Germany with 86, the United Kingdom with 72, Canada 37, Brazil 36 and Australia 35.
 
CHE Proximity was named Regional Agency of the Year for Australia / New Zealand they were also awarded one Gold and three Silver LIAs.
•    Gold - Social Influencers - Travel for Velocity Frequent Flyer titled “The Earnbassadors”
•    Silver - Digital - Banking/Financial/Insurance for NRMA titled “Safety Hub
•    Silver - Non-Traditional - Direct Marketing for NRMA titled “Safety Hub”
•    Silver - Social Influencers - Innovative Use of Social for Velocity Frequent Flyer titled “The Earnbassadors”
 
Meerkats, Perth were awarded a Silver LIA, two Bronze and a Finalist. These wins contributed to Meerkats being Regional Independent Agency of the Year for Australia / New Zealand.
•    Silver - Radio & Audio - Public Service/Social Awareness for St John 'Tiny Tots' First Aid titled “Stairs”
•    Bronze - Radio & Audio - Public Service/Social Awareness Campaign for St John 'Tiny Tots' First Aid titled “Shiny Plastic Choking Blocks”, “Boiling Water in a Pot”, “Stairs!”
•    Bronze - Radio & Audio - Public Service/Social Awareness for St John 'Tiny Tots' First Aid titled “Boiling Water in a Pot”
•    Finalist - Radio & Audio - Public Service/Social Awareness for St John 'Tiny Tots' First Aid titled “Shiny Plastic Choking Blocks”
 
The Regional Production Company of the Year for Australia / New Zealand was awarded to FINCH, Sydney. In addition to their statue wins they were credited for winning work entered by three agencies. The agencies, CHE Proximity, Clemenger BBDO and Colenso BBDO brought home a combined six statues that FINCH worked on.
 
FINCH was also awarded one Silver and 4 Bronze LIAs and attained one Finalist:
•    Silver - Production & Post-Production - New Director for Short Film titled “Backpedal”
•    Bronze - Production & Post-Production - Performance/Casting for Spark titled “Generation Voice”
•    Bronze - Production & Post-Production - Direction for Spark titled “Wedding”

•    Bronze - The NEW - Media Innovation for The Lion's Share titled “The Lion's Share”
•    Finalist - Production & Post-Production - New Director for Save Our Sons titled “Heartbreak”
 
Clemenger BBDO was awarded one Silver LIA. This win contributed to BBDO being named Regional Network of the Year for Australia / New Zealand.
•    Silver - Integration - Public Service/Social Awareness for Aboriginal Victoria titled “Deadly Questions”
 
The Editors, Sydney was named Regional Post-Production Company of the Year for the Australia / New Zealand region. In addition to winning a Silver LIA, The Editors were credited for winning work entered by Finch and Colenso BBDO.
