Komal is Chief Creative Officer at Saatchi & Saatchi Dubai and has held leadership positions in agencies across the Indian sub-continent, South East Asia and the Middle East.
A hands-on award-winning creative, Komal leads from the front: in building relationships with diverse clients; in raising the bar and empowering multicultural creative departments; in articulating and implementing across the board the client’s vision and goals.
During her time, Saatchi & Saatchi Dubai broke into the Top 5 Agency Rankings in the region after winning several local and international awards.
She has led teams that have won metals at all major award shows: LIA, Cannes Lions, One Show, D&AD, ANDYs, ADC, Clio, Epica, Effie, WARC, SXSW, New York Festival, Spikes Asia, Dubai Lynx and IAA. Her campaign for Harvey Nichols was ranked the #2 press campaign in the world. And the Big Won ranked her #2 in the list of Top Art Directors in the world. She has served as jury president for art direction at D&AD and as a jury member at Cannes Lions, Art Directors Club, Clio, Adfest, and New York Festivals.
Komal, who has more than twenty-five years’ experience in varied geographical and cultural markets, was the first woman ECD in the Middle East. She is also a fine-art photographer, in 2019 she published her first poetography book titled “DreamKeeper”. Passionate about inclusivity she conceived and launched “MOMAS” an inclusivity platform for working mothers in advertising and marketing.
