Born in Bahia, raised in Rio, forged in one of the advertising capitals of the world, Sao Paulo, and now living in California. If you know those places, you can realize how interesting this combination might get. And that's a precise definition of Lucas Heck.
Art Director by formation, his first job in advertising was at DPZ, one of the most traditional and creative agencies in Brazil. That sparked a creativity-above-all focus that would remain until today.
After working at another local giant, Fisher Rio, he landed in Sao Paulo to start what would be a 10-year tenure at Grey before moving to the USA in 2015 to join J. Walter Thompson working with brands such as Shell, Coke, US. Marines, Pennzoil, Church’s Chicken among others.
With that came professional growth, awards like Cannes, One Show, D&AD, Clio, among others, and a personal conviction that creativity is the best and cheapest way to solve problems.
That belief remains with Lucas at full force, today, driving his work as Global Creative Director on Creative X at Meta. And it doesn't seem it will fade any time soon.
