Tobias is the Global Chief Creative Officer at INGO the agency. INGO Stockholm is the result of a merger between Grey and Ogilvy in Sweden in 2011. The German office – INGO Hamburg – was opened by Ogilvy in 2021. INGO the agency has been among the top 10 agencies worldwide for several years and is known for cases such as “The Swedish Number”, “The Dill Restaurant” and “BURGER KING "Proper Dining”.
Tobias has been working as a creative for more than 30 years. His stations include the top 5 German independent agencies such as Springer & Jacoby, kempertrautmann (thjnk), Scholz & Friends and Grabarz & Partner. There he developed national and global campaigns for clients such as Audi, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, BURGER KING, Mondelez, Vodafone and Coca-Cola.
The Drum World Creative Ranking lists him under the 200 most-awarded Chief Creative Officers 2022. His work was awarded with more than 700 trophies including LIA, Cannes Lion, D&AD, One Show, Clio and ADC of Europe. He is a member of the British D&AD, the One Show and the ADC. He is married to Dörte Spengler-Ahrens (MD/Partner at Jung von Matt/Saga & President of the Art Directors Club, Germany).
