Armin Jochum

Armin Jochum, Chief Creative Officer, co-founded thjnk in July 2012 and works for illustrious clients such as Audi, Ikea, Commerzbank, as well as Germany’s major TV channel ARD.

Before that, Armin spent four successful years with Jung von Matt, which culminated in Jung von Matt being voted the number one “Independent Agency of the Year” at Cannes Lions in 2010, number three in 2011 and number two in 2012. Under Armin’s creative leadership, the agency won fifty Lions in the space of just three years.

Armin’s work on prestigious accounts over the last twenty-five years has been honoured at Cannes Lions, Clio, One Show, Design & Art Direction and Art Directors Club, to name but a few.
He has chaired some of the world’s most renowned award shows. In 2012, Armin was President of the Integrated Jury at Clio Awards. In 2011, he was a member of the Titanium Jury in Cannes and, in 2008, chaired the Cannes Lions Promo and Activation jury. With his track record of hundreds of awards, he ranks among the most highly distinguished creatives in the international arena. 
Armin is a member of the German Art Directors Club and British Design & Art Direction. However, Armin’s life is not just all about advertising. He loves his family, enjoys cooking on the weekend and values the spiritual experiences of lawn mowing.
