Mark is an award winning creative, content & social strategist, awards judge and mentor with an extensive track record building and leading enterprises in both the UK and Australia.
Over the past +20yrs, he has developed ideas, programs, platforms and opportunities for brands to connect with audiences in meaningful ways through stories and creative work that matters to them. What has guided Mark is something he learnt during at the start of his career journey, which is not to hear but to “listen” to clients, customers, consumers and audiences to understand what keeps them up at night or what they need, want or desire. Mark has been in the Havas network since 2015 during which time he set-up and established Havas Australia’s multidisciplinary content, digital creative and social offering that within three years attracted clients such as EA Games, Ubisoft, LG Electronics, Emirates, Bupa and Canal Studios. Prior to Havas, Mark set-up a creative and content entity for Publicis Australia.
Returning to the UK, Mark repeated this achievement with Red Havas, and since 2019 he has grown a team of creative, content specialists and creators that have delivered work designed for digital content campaigns and creative for partners such as The United Nations, UNICEF, KPMG, HSBC, EY, Shell, Dell, LinkedIn, Ferrero, Snap Inc.
Mark has pioneered many an industry first and his creativity has come to life in a multitude of formats: BeyondTV, the world’s first brand-owned digital TV channel for Land Rover back in 2007, Australia’s first interactive digital, social and TV entertainment format for Sony Music and Commbank. During his time at Publicis Mark lead the content creative work on the highly successful (D&AD Pencil, Cannes Gold included) Clever Buoy project for Optus and at Havas Australia he delivered the award-winning True North campaign for Emirates Airlines and Spotify.
More recently, Mark conceived and developed the Webby award-winning podcast docu-series, Forced to Flee, for the United Nations Refugee Agency.
