Patrick was born into a family of pharma sales and marketing people and spent the first part of his life running away from healthcare. He studied writing, history, and journalism in college and thought he would become a reporter.
 

But the creative side of advertising proved irresistible. And a chance opportunity at a pharma ad agency brought him back to the fold.
 

Now, as Executive Creative Director at VMLY&R Health, Patrick is proud to bring together the industry-leading creativity of VMLY&R and the pharma expertise of VMLY&R Health. He also served on the Health & Wellness jury at the 2022 LIAs. 
 

Patrick has learned the craft under some of the most celebrated creative innovators in health advertising. He’s excited to share some of what he’s learned with rising leaders.
