Klaartje's work has been (inter)nationally recognised, earning more than 100 awards, including LIA, Cannes Lions, Eurobest, New York Festivals, The Caples, DMA Echo, Best of Activation and Creative Belgium Awards. She has also served as a jury member at Cannes Lions, Eurobest, Gerety, Cresta, Caples & Creative Belgium among others. From 2003 until 2021, Klaartje was employed by BBDO Belgium, where she worked as an Art and Creative Director on several big brands in different industries. Today Klaartje is Executive Creative Director and Head of Design at Accenture Song Belux. Klaartje's passion lies in developing meaningful and well-crafted cases with a positive social impact, such as The Third Cup for Douwe Egberts, Skinmemories for Euromelanoma, The Write Thing for Parkinson and A Pact For More Respect for KU Leuven.
