Born and raised in Turin, Maurizio ended his promising career in football with a torn ACL and a degree in literature. He then started his career in advertising in 2007.
After 15 years of experience in different agencies, he is now an executive creative director at Dentsu Creative Italy. He leads creative work for various brands and businesses across industries.
During his career he worked for many global brands including American Express, Mcdonald’s, Volkswagen, Coca-Cola and Spotify, always striving to help them find their own peculiar voice.
His work has received several accolades from Epica, Effie, ADCI, Eurobest and New York Advertising Festivals and has been selected as editor’s pick on major websites such as LBB Online, The Drum, Ad Age, Ad Week, Ads of the World etc. He is also a copywriting teacher at Politecnico di Milano.
