Phillip Böndel is one of Germany’s leading marketing entrepreneurs and was named one of the “Top 40 Under 40” by the industry magazine HORIZONT. After several successful years as a consultant for Germany’s most renowned rappers, he began building the digital department of the renowned Düsseldorf-based creative agency BUTTER. He was appointed to the agency’s management team in 2017 and became a co-owner in 2023. Since 2019, Böndel has also been a board member of the German Association of Communications Agencies (GWA), where he is responsible for fostering young talent and organizing major industry events. In 2021, he was inducted into the Art Directors Club. Since 2021, Böndel has been the Co-Founder and CEO of THE AMBITION, Germany’s premier, award-winning consulting company specializing in hip-hop culture. Its clients include international brands from the FMCG, automotive, retail, lifestyle, and beauty sectors.
