I enjoyed it so much that I felt an hour wasn’t enough time, so I offered to do some extended sessions, and if viable, to do them in person in my working environment so that we could do some actual practical learning. It was interesting to answer questions, and it also made me realize that without these sessions, unless you’re physically in the situation how else would you learn about how and what to do in certain scenarios? One of the most important things, as well as imparting knowledge, was to instill some confidence in the young creatives asking the questions. They may already have the answer, but feel they are not confident or experienced enough to hold a certain view. For all of these young creatives, I feel the most important thing is to work with experienced people from whom they can learn and collaborate with."
