Alberto is a Multicultural, Total Market Creative Director & Copywriter. That’s a lot of buzzwords - but what does it mean?
Today, it means he'll be on a call with clients in LA who want to speak to West Coast Latinos. Later, he’ll connect with Texas clients, who want to engage people of all ethnicities. After a coffee break, he'll strategize with Seattle folks on a communication plan to reach consumers in Latin America.
Today is Tuesday.
And it’s been this way for over fifteen years. Alberto has been connecting the dots for both the general market and Latino consumers, working with brands like MLB, Walmart, McDonald's, Domino’s, Miller Lite, Coors, MARS, Heinz, Clorox, Starbucks, Texas Lottery, Prime, and Lowe’s.
Alberto has won at Cannes Lions, One Show, and Clio with multicultural pieces that resonate universally. He has served as a judge for five consecutive years at the SXSW Innovation Awards. He has also taught at Miami Ad School and serves as the West Coast lead for Círculo Creativo USA.
Before moving to the U.S., he worked as an ACD at Ogilvy México. And before that, he was writing and producing TV shows in Mexico City, where he also showcased his photography in art galleries.
He previously worked at two of the biggest multicultural agencies in the U.S.: LatinWorks and Alma DDB.
Alberto is currently a VP, Creative Director at Deutsch.
