Before joining VML, Gabriel worked in different countries for global agencies, Ogilvy, Africa DDB, Y&R, and TBWA, where he collaborated with iconic brands such as Gatorade, Adidas, Burger King, Budweiser, Coors Light, Samsung, FedEx, Mitsubishi Motors, Land Rover, and Nissan.

In 2019, Adweek included him in their annual creative report, Adweek's Creative 100: 2019's Most Fascinating People in Marketing, Media, and Culture. He was part of a list that included celebrated names from the advertising and entertainment industries like Ryan Reynolds, LeBron James, and Lizzo.
In 2024, Gabriel was one of the creative leads behind Thanks for Coke-Creating, one of the most awarded projects at the Cannes Lions Festival that year, and the most awarded Coca-Cola campaign in history. The campaign earned more than 10 Lions, including 3 Golds, and was a Titanium finalist. This success also helped Coca-Cola secure Brand of the Year at the festival, a first for the brand.
Gabriel believes that creative advertising has the power not only to make brands part of culture, but to shape it in a meaningful way, bringing positive transformation to our society. While he constantly pursues innovation and craft, he believes that advertising, at its core, is about telling simple, unique, and powerful stories that people can connect with on an emotional level.
