Katariina, Partner and Head of Social & Content at NoA | Bob the Robot, is the quintessential straight-A student from a small town in Finland. Despite her academic success, she has always been a creative soul, spending her free time writing blogs, attending art school, creating columns to local newspapers, and eventually finding her way into a career in advertising. Today, she is the most award-winning creative and social media talent in the Nordics.
She began her career on the client side, working for Finland’s largest dairy company for several years. After that, she joined TBWA\Helsinki and was offered a partnership after just 3.5 years in the agency. During the 5 years she worked at TBWA, she earned national and international awards, including a Grand Prix at Finland’s most prestigious advertising awards.
After her time at TBWA\Helsinki, Katariina built the social media team from the ground up at NoA | Bob the Robot, an agency that is part of the Nordics’ most successful network, NoA. In just the last 12 months, she has earned Grand Prix awards for Best TikTok Campaign in the Nordics for two years in a row, Europe’s first Cannes Lion for a university, Gold for the Greatest Branding at TikTok Awards two years in a row, Grand Prix for the most influential campaign in Finland, multiple regional Effie awards, and several national awards for Best Campaign and Best Social Media Campaign in Finland. On top of a Cannes Lion, earlier in her career she won multiple regional Young Lions awards in the Print category and a Gold in PR, and represented Finland at the Cannes Lions.
During her career, her clients have included brands, Helsinki Airport, Schwarzkopf, World Vision, MacPaw, Burger King, Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, and HONOR.
Most importantly, Katariina is passionate about transforming the whole industry - pushing beyond traditional advertising into creative social media and influencer advertising. She believes in breaking conventions and using non-traditional channels for hero-level creative ideas.
