Jonathan has been making brands behave and ideas misbehave for about 15 years - always trying to turn briefs into something people actually care about (or at least don’t skip).
He’s worked at agencies including, Dentsu, Publicis, VMLY&R, BBDO, and McCann, creating integrated campaigns for brands such as, Chevrolet, USPS, Chick-fil-A, Diageo, X, British American Tobacco, Juan Valdez, and many others. Global or local, big or small, if there’s an insight to chase, he’s probably chasing it.
Some of those ideas ran wild and ended up winning Cannes Lions, Young Lions Colombia, Effies, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, El Dorado Festival, and popping up six times in Lüzer’s Archive (still humble, still screenshots).
Today, Jonathan is a Senior Creative at Casanova McCann California, where he continues his lifelong quest to find the line that’s smart, simple, and just brave enough to survive the meeting.
When he’s off the clock, he writes short stories, reads movie scripts like they’re novels, and believes good advertising is a lot like good mentoring: less ego, more sharing, and always better when you pass it on.
Always happy to coach, be coached, brainstorm, rewrite, and overthink ideas with anyone who loves this strange, wonderful industry.
