As Global Chief Creative Officer, Maximilian Schöngen is responsible for the creative and strategic development of Mediaplus Group on an international level. He oversees global pitches, brand strategies, and campaigns with the aspiration to make media not only efficient, but truly effective – integrating it even more closely with strategic thinking and creativity. For Maximilian Schöngen, one thing is clear: future-proof brands are not built on best practices, but on decisions driven by conviction.

He has been part of the Serviceplan Group for several years and previously worked as a Global Creative Strategist, among other roles. As a member of the international Creative Board, he has won numerous awards. Currently, Max is ranked #5 globally and #2 in Europe among the world’s top Chief Creative Officers, according to the 2025 The One Club for Creativity ranking. He operates directly at the intersection of data, impact, and leadership, shaping the approach of leveraging media as an active driver of brand development. Before joining Serviceplan, he worked at Kempertrautmann (now Thjnk).
