Carolina has over a decade of experience in the advertising industry. She developed her career from Creative Producer to Copywriter and ultimately Creative Director, leading work that has been awarded at national and international festivals such as Desachate, Campana de Oro, IAB, Effie Awards, FIAP and Ojo de Iberoamérica. Her work has also been featured in Lürzer’s Archive and Communication Arts. In 2016, she became the first Uruguayan creative to win Gold in the Young Lions Print competition at Cannes Lions.
 
As part of her commitment to giving back to the industry, she has been actively involved in education. She has taught at Brother Montevideo - part of one of the world’s most renowned creativity school networks - and currently lectures in the final project program of the Communication degree at Universidad Católica in Uruguay.
 
She has also served as a jury member for several advertising festivals, including El Ojo de Iberoamérica, Creativepool Awards, New York Festivals Advertising Awards, ASPID and Desachate in Uruguay.
 
With a background in advertising communication, journalism and audiovisual production, she has worked with major international brands such as UN Women, the European Union and Scotiabank, as well as leading national brands including ANII, IM, AIC, SAMAN and Deutsche Schule Montevideo - developing strategic, social impact, commercial and cultural projects.
