Michael Ciccone
Founder / Head of Production
Truce Production Co.
Collingwood
, Australia

With a grounded and hands-on approach, Michael Ciccone leads TRUCE’s commercial team as its co-founder and Head of Production.

His journey began in the muddy trenches of HBO's THE PACIFIC, where he worked in the Gripping department with the decidedly unglamorous task of cleaning equipment between takes. This humble start gave him an invaluable insight and understanding of how complex productions come together across every department.

Today, Michael steers each project from pitch to completion, weaving together client vision, creative execution, and logistical precision. He thrives in the space where ambitious ideas meet real-world constraints, ensuring budgets align with creative goals while timeline pressures never compromise quality. His responsibilities span client partnerships, business growth, and the intricate coordination that brings campaigns to life.

His approach centres on building authentic relationships that extend beyond individual projects. Michael nurtures environments where creativity flourishes, because people feel genuinely supported and understood. Whether managing client expectations or leading production teams, he maintains that the best work happens when collaboration feels effortless, even when the stakes are high.

As a result, Michael's work has collected metal across Cannes Lions, London International Awards, Spikes Asia, AWARD, Gerety, Effies, Prime, D&AD, among others. These achievements reflect the strong partnerships built with agencies and production partners spanning Australia, Asia, and the U.S.

The old saying holds true: if you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life, and for Michael it is the work itself that drives him far beyond the usual markers of career success. Every project offers the chance to collaborate with brilliant, inquisitive people while exploring subject matter and locations that most never experience. And this journey that he is on, still feels like it is only the beginning.
