Karan Novas is one of Brazil's leading experts in creativity, content, and marketing. With over 20 years of experience, he has won over 50 awards at major international festivals, including a Grand Prix and over 25 trophies at Cannes Lions – the world's largest creativity festival; a SXSW Innovation Awards; as well as LIA, The One Show and Clio, among others.
As a journalist, he served as editor and content director for some of the industry's leading media outlets, such as About, Propmark, and Reclame (Multishow), and as contributor as specialist and in international coverage for players such as UOL, Estadão, Record and PlayTV. He was also co-creator and host of several radio shows and of "Bendita Marvada" (Globo), the first documentary series about the history of cachaça.
In 2017, he co-founded Tulom, a creative PR firm focused on the creative industry, working with agencies, production companies, media and marketing players in Brazil and abroad. He also teaches Branded Content at Miami Ad School and participates at major global creativity and innovation events, such as Cannes Lions, SXSW, London International Awards (LIA), One Show, El Ojo, Cíclope, and Effie as delegate, judge, panelist, and speaker.
