Dwayna A. Haley (also known as asktheprgirl®) is a Brand Architect, Culture Engineer, and Commercial Innovator, who designs systems that turn cultural relevance into durable business growth. Her work sits at the intersection of storytelling, experience, community, culture, and commerce, where brands stop speaking at people and start building momentum with them.
Across a 20+ year career, Dwayna has led enterprise brand transformation and growth for Fortune 500 companies and global organizations including Invisalign, The Home Depot, LVMH, Delta Air Lines, Bayer, Victoria’s Secret, BET Networks, pepsico, and Chico’s FAS, Inc. Most recently, she served as EVP, Consumer Brands at MSL (Publicis), advising C-suite leaders on earned-first strategy, influence ecosystems, and experience-led growth models that strengthen relevance, trust, and commercial performance.
Previously, Dwayna was Chief Brand and Communications Officer at the Metro Atlanta Chamber, where she built the organization’s first Brand Center of Excellence and reimagined its flagship platform, chooseatl (now Atlanta – Where You Belong), transforming the region’s brand into a culturally influential growth engine. Earlier in her career at Porter Novelli, she was appointed EVP and North America Growth Lead by the Global CEO, driving new revenue, launching high-performing practices, and shaping integrated brand systems for complex, regulated, and consumer-driven businesses.
A people-first, servant leader, Dwayna is known for building high-performing teams, coherent brand systems, and platforms that compound over time. Her work is grounded in a simple belief: the strongest brands—and the strongest organizations—are built with intention, coherence, and courage.
She is the founder of Haley Communications Group and the creator of I’M NOT YELLING®, a leadership platform empowering Black women executives and entrepreneurs. Dwayna has been recognized by prweek 40 Under 40, PRSA Georgia 40 Under 40, and the Middle Tennessee State University College of Media and Entertainment Hall of Fame.
Based in Atlanta, she is a wife of 18 years, a mother of two, and a lifelong student of people, culture, and systems that help both brands and communities thrive.
