From studying plant life in college to solving business problems with an MBA, Anu’s journey has been shaped by curiosity and craft. A multilingual movie buff and avid traveller, her interests are wide-ranging. At the core of it all is an Art Director with over 25 years of experience in advertising.

Driven by an uncompromising passion for ideas, Anu has built a formidable reputation in the Indian advertising landscape through the strength of her thinking, the impact of her campaigns, and her deep commitment to the work. Her work has been recognised with multiple Golds at Cannes Lions, Clio, Spikes Asia and ADFEST, along with wins at LIA, New York Festivals, The Abbys and The One Show. She has also served on juries at leading global award shows including The One Show, Spikes Asia, AME Awards, New York Festivals, Kyoorius and The Abbys.

Anu is currently the Managing Director and Chief Creative Officer at Havas Creative India, making her the only woman in the country to hold both roles concurrently. At Havas Creative India, she leads teams across some of the largest global and Indian brands, including Reckitt (Durex, Veet, Harpic, Vanish and Mortein), Pepsi, Mirinda, Pizza Hut, VinFast Auto, Fortis Hospitals, Suzuki, UTI Mutual Fund and William Grant & Sons, among others. Under her leadership, Havas Creative India won its first-ever Grand Prix at Spikes Asia and ADFEST, along with Golds at Cannes Lions, Clio, London International Awards and Spikes Asia for The Times of India in 2025.

Previously, as National Creative Director and Managing Partner at Dentsu Impact Delhi, Anu led the Maruti Suzuki business and was the only National Creative Director handling the automobile category in India for nearly six years. During this tenure, she also led the launch of IKEA in India.

Earlier, as Senior Creative Director at JWT Delhi, Anu guided the Delhi office to its first Cannes Lions and Clio Gold in the agency’s 100-year history. In the same year, the network was named Agency of the Year at ADFEST. The Fujifilm campaign she led was ranked among the top 20 most awarded print campaigns globally by the Gunn Report. Her work on Nokia and Samsung also played a key role in establishing them as the most trusted brand and the leading youth brand in India, respectively.

Outside of work, Anu enjoys consuming all kinds of content, spending time with family and friends, and preparing a much-loved mutton roast, despite being a vegetarian.
