Chief Creative Officer
Rise & Run Health

, United States of America

Laura Florence is currently the Chief Creative Officer at Rise & Run, part of Omnicom Health. She has been passionately playing with ideas and brands for over 35 years.

She decided she would be a copywriter at the age of 10 and landed her first internship at 17. Since then, Laura has traveled the world of creativity through iconic agencies such as DM9DDB, Ogilvy, Publicis, R/GA, Dentsu Creative, and Havas Health, before eventually calling New York home. Along the way, she has created work for brands including Kotex, Huggies, Mondelez, Pampers, Ariel, Always, Dove, Hellmann’s, Nike, Adidas, Disney, Philips, Intel, Sanofi, Pfizer, Novartis, AstraZeneca, J&J, Merck, Mastercard, Coca-Cola, Heineken, and Jeep, essentially, a true brand buffet.

What does she bring to the table? A rare and effective combination of creativity, data-driven creativity, cultural strategy, content craft, and business acumen. A mix strong enough to navigate everything from Super Bowl spots to highly regulated DTC and HCP pharma campaigns, without ever losing sight of human insight — or her sense of humor.

For the past 15 years, Laura has led teams guided by a simple philosophy: creativity loves happiness. Fear kills ideas, so her role as a leader is to make sure the work environment feels safe, inspiring, and genuinely fun.

As a mentor, she has guided more than 60 women in the industry. Last year, she launched a proprietary rapid-mentorship methodology structured in three sessions, a creative fast-track designed to condense years of learning into a short, high-impact journey where growth happens at lightning speed.

Laura has served on the juries of some of the world’s most iconic creative festivals, including Cannes Lions, Clio Health, D&AD, LIA, New York Festivals, and The One Show. She has also held the role of Jury President four times. These experiences have shaped her deeply, just as being recognized with awards from these festivals is something she holds with gratitude. In 2025, she took the stage at Cannes Lions to speak to a global audience, and for the second year in a row, she was invited to inspire the women of the See It Be It program, a moment that reaffirmed her belief in the power of women lifting women.

Beyond jury rooms and stages, Laura is the co-founder of MORE GRLS, the largest creative leadership community in Latin America. She is also a podcaster with two seasons on air, a responsible AI enthusiast, a firm believer in diversity as a superpower, a writer, an unconventional mother, a yoga fan, and an eternal student of life.
