Greg Collins is a copywriter by trade, an Executive Creative Director by tenure, and the co-founder of Overdog — a creative consultancy built on the simple idea that experience is an unfair advantage.

Over the years, he’s sweated the adjectives on more than 50 Fortune 500 brands, working on everything from multimillion-dollar, multi-platform global launches to $300 PSAs. Along the way, he’s spent time at agencies including BBDO, GSD&M, R/GA and TBWA\Chiat\Day — plus a few that don’t go by founders’ initials, like 72andSunny, Arnold, Cutwater and David&Goliath.

Greg is best known for his ongoing partnership with L&C New York as guest ECD; a collaboration that began in the cheese aisle of a local supermarket and is still going strong (long story).

His work includes a Cannes Grand Prix Titanium finalist, four Grand Clios and three LIA Best in Show awards. And, he’s ranked among the world’s top ten writers and creative directors by Cannes Lions, The One Club and D&AD. Outside advertising, the work’s been Emmy-nominated, featured in Fast Company’s World Changing Ideas, recognized at the United Nations SDG Summit and archived in MoMA’s permanent collection, carefully lit and climate-controlled.

Greg lives in New York City with Biz, his rescue dog, and a plant that has gone unnamed for three years.
