Attending the creative LIAisons in Las Vegas has been one of the highlights of my year. I got to meet a bunch of amazingly talented people from around the world that I hope to see at these sort of events in the future. The whole week really opened my eyes and reminded me about why I got into this industry and why I love it. The speakers were some of the most respected people in our industry, so it was great to hear their stories and how they approach projects and situations within the industry. I forgot to mention how damn inspiring they were! But the best thing about the whole week though, was sitting in on and observing the statue discussions on Friday, 14th October. Even though I was probably the most hungover I’ve ever been in my entire life, I still found it incredibly educational and pretty damn cool. Oh and Catherine Johns and I co-created the tagline of the millennium: Turd Down For Watt. You’re welcome world. Gracias LIA. I love you.
