The Creative LIAisons was a week that went beyond my expectations. Having been given the opportunity to listen to and talk to the gods and giants in our business made one feel somewhat special. One of the best advice I got from the more senior people was, not to take our job too seriously. We work in advertising, it’s supposed to be fun. And fun was really what LIA created for us during the whole program with a little help from Las Vegas. The InnerVation Lab showed me that our work can be more than just performing on our given briefs and encouraged us to always think in new ways. It was also great, getting the chance to actually work with the other young creatives.
One of my take-aways from LIA is that passion is key. All the way from the arrangements to the people at Creative LIAisons, the passion that the speakers showed for their work and the business as a whole was truly inspiring. The future looks great for the advertising industry.
