The Creative LIAisons programme offered me the unique and privileged opportunity to learn from some of the most influential people in advertising today. Four days of inspiring talks and workshops taught me more about the industry than an entire year at college. It was fascinating to delve inside the minds of Ted Royer and Bob Isherwood and understand their shortcuts to making exceptional work. I can’t wait to return to the agency and share my experience with the creative department (and maybe a few stories from Las Vegas).
A particular highlight of mine was the chance to sit in on the LIA Statue Discussions. It was interesting to understand how the best people in the industry judge creative work. I’ll use that criteria to judge my own work going forward. The new InnerVation Lab taught me the value of thinking more entrepreneurially. Pitching our ideas to the Shark Tank judges was an experience I’ll never forget.
