Topic: Creative Strategy & Transformative Business Impact Panel

Creating the Conditions for Creativity to Thrive: For individuals, teams, organizations big and small, near and far. The way that we all do that starts with strategy. Both strategy for the work we do with clients and strategy for how we can/should intentionally design those conditions for ourselves and our teams. This talk will help you understand the role of strategy to unleash creativity in your work and on your own leadership journeys.

About Emma:

Emma is one of the UKs most experienced and awarded female Chief Creative Officers. In her role she is responsible for setting the creative vision for agencies and clients alike and working closely with her strategic partners to bring that vision to life. ?

Emma has enjoyed a very successful and fulfilling career across a wide range of agency types, from brand advertising and customer engagement to digital marketing and innovation. By deliberately cultivating a diverse skillset she is able to deploy a creatively agnostic approach to solving problems, something she strongly believes in. It also allows her to understand people's roles and the different aspects of our industry, so that she can be effective in 'joining the dots' when working within companies to bring people together to create connected ideas. ?

Emma has a love of building teams and she considers casting and recruitment to be one of her key strengths. This is born out by the award winning and pitch winning teams she has built and led at some of the UKs leading agencies and for global clients including Kimberly Clark, British Airways, IBM and Kelloggs. ?

She brings the magic of creativity with the rigour of strategic problem solving to whatever she turns her hand to, as evidenced by numerous major awards across digital, advertising, customer and PR including, Titanium and Grand Prix Cannes Lions, D&AD Yellow Pencils, DMA Grand Prix, Campaign BIG Grand Prix, One Show Best in Show and Effies for effectiveness. She revels in new business and has helped agencies climb to the top of the new biz league tables and to win 'Agency of The Year' awards. Despite regular visits to the stage, as a winner and as an industry speaker, Emma doesn't do egos or rock stars. She prefers working with down to earth people who take the work, rather than themselves, seriously. Those who know her describe her as having a can-do attitude, an infectious sense of fun and boundless energy. She describes herself as being a bit of a nerd and a passionate environmentalist who drinks far too much coffee.
