Topic: How Did I Get Here?

Hear how somebody who thought they were nobody built a career wanting the job they didn’t have by zig-zagging between the two opposing worlds.

About Sue:

Sue grew up in Ireland, spending most of her time in a very small town behind a computer coding websites and making tv commercials featuring her cousins. After receiving a degree in Visual Communications in Dublin, she earned a scholarship to the Savannah College of Art & Design in the US and received her Masters in Advertising.
Her career has involved moving back and forth between design and advertising agencies, and cities. This has lead to a unique blend of branding and global experience. She worked in Amsterdam for the design agency Edenspiekermann, then relocated to the US where she has worked at Ogilvy, Wolff Olins, Wieden+Kennedy and Gretel, in New York, Atlanta Portland, and San Francisco.

Currently she oversees the Senior Global Director of Brand Design at The Coca-Cola Company, overseeing the world's most iconic, distinctive, and beloved brands in the 200+ brand portfolio, such as Coca-Cola, Fanta, Smartwater. Prior to TCCC, her clients have included Airbnb, Chobani, Google, Coca-Cola, Amazon and Samsung.

Sue and her work has been featured in Wired, FastCompany, Rolling Stone and It’s Nice That. Sue is an obsessively curious consumer of culture, branding and design.
