About Nancy:
 
Nancy Bennett is an innovative storyteller and visionary creative, who thrives at the nexus of groundbreaking technologies, cinematic storytelling, music, and creative design. With 20+ years of experience spanning VR, film, television, music videos, marketing, and startups, she expertly leads cross-functional teams to bring trailblazing ideas to life across physical and digital platforms. Nancy’s creative background, hands-on technical expertise, and futurist vision enable her to shape ultra-modern experiences that drive revenue growth, engage audiences by the millions, and transform the possibilities of tomorrow into the reality of today.
 
Bennett began her career in Music Videos and commercials, working on seminal hits for the Beastie Boys, En Vogue, Tracy Chapman and the B52s to name a few. She was simultaneously head of production for the home video arm, the audio books division and the music video department of Atlantic Records and started the new media division between 1990-1994. She directed and produced hit videos for Tori Amos, Led Zeppelin, Mr. Big and Ringo Starr from 94-98. In 1998, Bennett founded the now 24-year- old transcoding entity, bitmax.net handling media for Universal Music worldwide, Apple, AT&T and other entertainment studios today.
 
In 2004, she designed and launched LOGO, the first LGBTQ TV network in history for MTV Networks. She launched RockBand II as creative marketing lead in 2008. She directed and activated the first out-of-home VR experience for 20,000 NFL fans during Super bowl XLIV in 2015. She directed the first episodic series in VR for the NFL and Google in 2016. Bennett is one of the five founding members of Two Bit Circus, an interdisciplinary team of technologists and artists where she served as chief creative officer for the company and launched the first ever micro amusement park of immersive
entertainment.

 
She is a Sundance Alumni and an Edmund Hillary Fellow. She holds US patent 2019029173 for a Virtual and Augmented Reality diagnostic platform that diagnosis genetic diseases of the eye and that is being utilized internationally for retinal gene therapy. Bennett is a recipient of the 2018 Lumiere for Best Music VR and a 2019

Sundance Institute New Frontier Lab Programs Grant. She has a performance French horn degree and a master of science in film.

 
Bennett is currently producing an experiential project for SUPERPLASTIC that opens inside Area15 in Las Vegas, Nevada on October 17th, 2024
