About Richard:
Richard Schmid is a strategic marketing leader with over 15 years of experience across brand development, customer experience, and commercial marketing in the retail and property sectors. Richard is currently Head of Marketing, Activations & Brand Partnerships at Scentre Group. Richard leads the delivery of portfolio-wide programs that bring the Westfield brand to life across Australia and New Zealand. His work connects millions of customers with curated experiences through strategic collaborations with local and global partners, including landmark partnerships such as Westfield’s collaboration with Disney.
Throughout his career at Scentre Group, Richard has held various roles across marketing, community engagement and retail. Richard is known for his collaborative leadership,stakeholder engagement skills and strong commercial acumen.
Outside of work, Richard enjoys bushwalking, traveling, playing the cello, and spending time with his family.
