Topic: SHAZAM THAT BRAND! Brands That Move With Music
What people listen to, and choose to save, share, or Shazam, has become one of the clearest signals of identity, values, and cultural belonging. In a world saturated with content, music remains one of the few creative forces people actively invite into their lives. This talk explores how brands can tap into that intimacy by treating music not as an accessory, but as a creative starting point. When brands listen closely to audiences, to artists, to culture, they can collaborate on original, playlist-worthy songs that feel meaningful rather than manufactured. Drawing on real campaigns and artist collaborations, the session reframes branded music as a form of cultural participation. It argues that creativity has its greatest power when it gives people something they genuinely want to keep, long after the campaign ends.
About Lucas:
Lucas Mayer, founder and global creative director of DaHouse Audio, an international music and sound company with studios in Los Angeles, Berlin, São Paulo, and Tokyo.
Throughout his career, Lucas has worked on music for both emerging and iconic Brazilian artists, including Elza Soares, Ney Matogrosso, Rubel, Criolo, Jota.pê, and Liniker. His projects often blend music, culture, and storytelling, from The Uncensored Playlist, a censorship-defying musical project recognized in major festivals like Cannes and LIA, to Le Tour Du Monde, where he recorded music on the streets of cities around the world.
He's also composed for documentaries, advertising, and film, and continues to be hands-on in most DaHouse projects. In 2024, he received an Emmy for Dreamcaster and joined the Grammy jury. In 2025, DaHouse was named Music & Sound Company of the Year at The One Show and awarded a Black Pencil at D&AD.
Through it all, Lucas stays grounded in what brought him here: curiosity, collaboration, and a deep love for sound.
