About Julie:

Julie Kang is a Seoul-based creative entrepreneur working at the intersection of creativity, technology, culture and business transformation.

She is the Founder & CEO of Flux AI Asia, where she co-founded and leads CRAISEE, an AI-native video production platform that orchestrates 100+ global models across image, video, audio and text in one cross-modal workflow. It enables creators to generate and compare multiple creative directions simultaneously, accelerating production while helping them discover their own distinctive AI style. Built by a Seoul–Berlin founding team within Korea’s fast-moving content ecosystem, CRAISEE combines Korean and Asian creative sensibilities with European engineering for a global creator market.

In 2025, after more than a decade leading Serviceplan Korea, part of the independent Serviceplan Group, Julie shifted her focus from the creative agency world to building an AI creative technology startup. Her career has been shaped by a belief that independence is not simply about working outside a network, but about creative ownership, trusting one’s instincts and accepting the responsibility that comes with building on one’s own terms.

Throughout her career, Julie has created opportunities for emerging creative talent, mentored young professionals and startup founders, and supported the incubation of technology-led businesses.  She played an instrumental role in incubating Dot, a Korean technology startup developing electronic Braille smartwatches and tactile devices for people with visual impairments. Their collaboration went on to win a Titanium Lion at Cannes Lions.

Her work has received more than 100 international creative awards, and she has served on juries at Cannes Lions, D&AD, The One Show, Spikes Asia and ADFEST. She is Jury President for B2B and Business Transformation at LIA 2026.

Through her work and mentorship, Julie encourages emerging creatives to turn creative conviction into action—and to build the careers, companies and futures they believe in.
