The best shows have the best judges. Like attracts like.

So appointing the right judges is a serious business. LIA puts careful thought and consideration into selecting the best frontline practitioners to sit on the juries. Every year, the jury members are high-profile professionals from diverse communities internationally; each accomplished in their field and acclaimed by their counterparts in the industry. Having a diversified jury (DEI) across the world - companies, networks, holding companies, independent companies to clients means having different points of view that would eventually lead to the best work being funnelled through.

There is a big weight of responsibility to push the most notable work to the top. That’s why, in the interest of total fairness, every jury member must see every piece of work from the get-go. No pre-judging off-site. And any juror who has a vested interest in a piece of work must abstain.

Emma Daines is the Founder of Fin Design and Effects, a Post Production VFX House with studios in Sydney, Melbourne, Shanghai and Singapore.

Fin Design and Effects is one of the most well reputed and highly awarded Visual Effects Companies in Asia Pacific.

Emma’s experience in the Advertising Industry spans over 35 years working in leading Post Production facilities in Melbourne, London, Asia and Sydney.

Emma is most well noted for her Producing skills with an impressive wealth of knowledge and understanding of high end Visual Effects, it’s technicalities and her ability manage a team to pursue ambitious creative results. She is recognised for her passion for the industry and innovative
approach to extend and stimulate those around her in the pursuit for excellence.

As sole owner of Fin Design, Emma managed to build Fin up to be one of the most highly respected and awarded VFX Houses in South East Asia boasting numerous awards that include Cannes Lion, LIA, CLIO, New York Festival Awards, Adfest, Axis, Award and Spikes.

Emma is also a proud Co-Founder of the international organisation ‘Owned By Women’ mandating gender parity and mentoring and empowering women in the advertising industry.

Emma’s steadfast approach to push boundaries, to stimulate creative and to seek challenges within herself and the people around her make her a standing force in the Advertising industry.
