The best shows have the best judges. Like attracts like.

So, appointing the right judges is a serious business. LIA puts careful thought and consideration into selecting the best frontline practitioners to sit on the juries. Every year, the jury members are high-profile professionals from diverse communities internationally; each accomplished in their field and acclaimed by their counterparts in the industry. Having a diversified jury (DEI) across the world - companies, networks, holding companies, independent companies to clients means having different points of view that would eventually lead to the best work being funneled through.

There is a big weight of responsibility to push the most notable work to the top. That’s why, in the interest of total fairness, every jury member must see every piece of work from the get-go. No pre-judging off-site. And any juror who has a vested interest in a piece of work must abstain.

Since 2025, Marco Venturelli is President and Global Chief Creative Officer of Leo, a creative constellation gathering 15,000 talents in 90 countries. 
 
He is also the CCO of Publicis Groupe France, leading around 800 creative talents and CEO/CCO of Publicis Conseil in Paris.

He started in 2001 as a copywriter in Milan at BGS/D’Arcy, Publicis, BBDO and Havas. In 2010, he moved to Paris and joined the Havas-owned Agence H as Creative Director, winning all major awards in France and globally. In 2014, he was appointed Executive Creative Director of the newly-born agency Les Gaulois, making it the most award-winning Havas agency in the world at the Cannes Lions. Then he returned to Publicis as Global ECD for the Heineken account, crafting campaigns for UEFA Champions League, James Bond and F1 partnerships, and launching Heineken 0.0.

Marco served as president or juror in all main national and international awards, including Eurobest, LIA, New York Festival, Clio, D&AD and four times at Cannes Lions.

He has collected hundreds of awards and more than 100 Cannes Lions, including 7 Cannes Lions Grand Prix and a D&AD Black Pencil. In 2024, Marco ranked number one Chief Creative Officer in the world at D&AD. Publicis Conseil was awarded Agency of the Year both at Cannes Lions and Clio Awards.
