AND THE WINNERS ARE...

 

Direct from the heart of the jury deliberations in Las Vegas, LIA is excited to announce the Winners and Finalists in the Non-Traditional, TV & Cinema, Online Film, Design and Package Design categories. With the three juries comprised of esteemed industry leaders from around the world, they meticulously evaluated and debated entries on-site, ensuring a fair and comprehensive selection.

 

Barbara Levy, President of LIA, said of this year's body of work: "The power of ideas was clearly demonstrated across these categories. The best work found a creative solution to a problem. Communicating creatively is the best way to get your message to land and have impact."

NON-TRADITIONAL WINNERS AND FINALISTS ANNOUNCED

The Non-Traditional Jury, led by Luiz Sanches, Chief Global Creative Client Lead of BBDO & Chairman and Partner of AlmapBBDO, is honored to reveal this year’s winners in this very unique category.

The Non-Traditional category, a celebration of ideas so fresh and pure that they defy category conventions, aims to honor work that is brilliant in its thinking and innovative in its execution. This year, the Jury awarded the Grand LIA to Rethink Toronto for their work, "Coors Light’s Out" created for Coors Light. After deep discussions, the Jury has awarded 38 Statues: 1 Grand LIA, 11 Gold, 9 Silver and 17 Bronze Statues, on top of recognizing 15 Finalists.

DESIGN AND PACKAGE DESIGN CATEGORIES

The Design and Package Design Jury, led by Oskar Lübeck, Chief Creative Officer of Bold Stockholm, is delighted to unveil the world’s best work under these categories. 

The Design category recognizes brilliance in visual identity, outstanding production values and the beautiful execution of craft to help brands connect with people. This year, Circus Grey, Lima won the Grand LIA for their remarkable campaign, "Sightwalks" crafted for UNACEM. All in all, the Jury awarded 56 Statues: 1 Grand LIA,  8 Gold, 21 Silver, and 26 Bronze Statues, in addition to recognizing 19 Finalists.
 

 

In the Package Design category, LIA honors the most innovative, exceptionally crafted and beautifully executed packaging designs from around the globe. The Package Design Jury celebrated outstanding work with 6 Statues awarded: 1 Gold, 2 Silver, and 3 Bronze, along with commending 4 Finalists.

After completing their meticulous judging process, the TV & Cinema and Online Film jury, under the leadership of Marco Venturelli, Chief Creative Officer of Publicis France & CEO/CCO of Publicis Conseil, Paris, is thrilled to announce the recipients of this year's awards.

 

TV & Cinema honors films made for broadcast television or cinema that combines exemplary ideas and craft. In this category, the Jury awarded a TV & Cinema Grand LIA to Meta, Menlo Park for their captivating work for WhatsApp titled "We Are Ayenda". In total, they awarded 25 Statues: 1 Grand LIA, 8 Gold, 7 Silver, and 9 Bronze Statues in the TV & Cinema category. Additionally, 5 Finalists were awarded.

Online Film lauds films released on digital platforms that successfully fuse brilliant ideas with impeccable execution. The Jury awarded an Online Film Grand LIA to Marcel, Paris for their remarkable work "WoMen's Football". The Jury awarded 19 Online Film Statues including 1 Grand, 3 Gold, 7 Silver, and 8 Bronze Statues. They also awarded 5 Finalists.

Marco Venturelli expressed, "Of course, one thing I really enjoyed about my jury that’s also unique to LIA, was having the young talent from the Creative LIAisons program observe the statue discussions. It was very special to also hear from them what they took away from observing the discussions."
