London International Awards Announces Jeremy Perrott as a Speaker at Creative LIAisons 2017

23 August 2017

Jeremy unites with other celebrated innovators for yet another unforgettable year for young creatives

Jeremy Perrott, Global Chief Creative Officer of McCann Health, has been announced as a speaker at the London International Awards’ Creative LIAisons program.

Jeremy oversees the creative endeavors of the McCann Health global network of 60 offices across 20 countries and 6 continents. Fresh from a second consecutive Network of the Year win for McCann Health at the 2017 Lions Health, Jeremy will not only speak at Creative LIAisons, but also chair the inaugural Health & Pharma juries at LIA 2017.

“I’m speaking [at LIA] because I believe this creative festival is committed to the hard work of identifying the best work in the world,” comments Jeremy. “Where some festivals have become more interested in making the shows more like trade shows and not investing in the industry that feeds them, LIA has made the efforts to expand categories, identify quality in crafting the work and investing in judges who are experts in fields lifting the quality of work and standards for the industry. At a time where we are experiencing a lack of passion to enter the shows that should be valued and support our industry, I feel Health & Pharma will deliver the quality in results and reputation build on seriously identifying the best work that represents what we do every day for brands, for clients, for talent.”

The topic of Jeremy’s presentation will be “Is Health the new sexy?”. He elaborates, “Behind everything we purchase, from food to clothing to cars to a home, Health has a voice and a role. And it’s a sexy one.”

Creative LIAisons is LIA’s way of giving back. By refraining from a fancy award show, the whole budget goes to organizing this amazing event for young creatives.

“We are excited to have Jeremy in Las Vegas this year as both a Speaker and the principal guide of our new Health & Pharma competitions,” says Barbara Levy, President of LIA. “All of our 2017 speakers have one thing in common. They all believe that the investment that LIA makes in nurturing young talent at Creative LIAisons is an invaluable investment in the future of the industry. In an era when award budgets are being cut due to less revenue, LIA is proud that we can continue to provide the industry with this fully-funded program; the opportunity to bring together the world’s brightest minds from all corners of the globe in order to inspire, educate and exchange ideas with creatives at the top of the industry.”

The program is tailor-made for young creatives in every sense, from the opportunity to meet many young talented minds from around the globe, to learning from some of the most influential people in our industry, who will talk about issues and topics that concern young creatives specifically, to the mind-blowing and rare opportunity of sitting in on Statue Discussions, peeking into the judges’ minds and witnessing a process that affects every creative in the world. It is a rare opportunity that young creatives never experience.

Jeremy concludes: “In essence, we must support the awards shows… that make us perform, encourage new talent to our world and inspire and reassure clients to participate, who after all are the single beneficiaries of brilliant performing work produced by enthused and passionate creative people.”

Creative LIAisons will be held at Encore/Wynn, Las Vegas from October 4th through October 7th, 2017, concurrently with the LIA judging sessions.

Notes to the editor:

London International Awards (LIA) is a global festival honoring creativity and new ideas in Advertising, Production, Digital, Design, Music & Sound, Technology and Branded Entertainment. The awards, founded in 1986 by President Barbara Levy, began by honoring advertising in the realms of Cinema, Television, Print and Radio, evolving since its inception into 18 unique media types. It was the first truly international advertising awards of its kind to acknowledge all media and methods from all over the world to be judged by a diverse global jury. Every member on each Jury Panel, including the Jury President, judges all entries, excluding their own work, in their respective media. Each Jury has the discretion to award a Grand LIA within the media they are judging.
