LIA Interviewed 2022 Non-Traditional Juror, Bianca Guimaraes. Bianca talks about her judging experience and advice she has for young talent.
"I was here in Vegas with LIA's Creative LIAisons program in 2015 as an attendee. Then I watched Daymond John speak, and all the panels, and now I came back as part of the LIA jury and as a speaker in a panel with Daymond, so it feels pretty full ciricle. It is so amazing seeing LIA create these programs and it opened doors for me and now I am on the other side."
Reflecting upon her judging experience, Bianca comments that, "Coming from two years of judigng online it was very good to be in person. Seeing the energy in the room, being abke to see people react to the work and the live discussions changes everyhing. I learned a lot."
When it came to offering advice to young creatives Bianca says, "Resilience is a big thing in this business."
