BRAZIL TAKES HOME 34 STATUES AT 2018 LONDON INTERNATIONAL AWARDS

AlmapBBDO named the Regional Agency of the Year for South America

 

(New York, 5th November 2018) LIA, one of the most prestigious Global award shows in Advertising, Digital, Technology driven work, Health & Pharma and Branded Entertainment, today announced the winners. The 33rd Annual London International Awards judging convened over a 10-day period. The Juries, drawn from the world’s most recognized talent and presided over by industry leaders, viewed and scored every entry within their medium, ensuring that all the work was judged equally.

 

This year Brazil brought home 34 of the coveted LIA statues - 5 Gold, 13 Silver, 16 Bronze and attained 6 Finalists.

 

In total 705 LIA statues, in addition to finalists, were awarded from 40 countries with Brazil ranking #6. The top countries were United States (211), Germany (111), Australia (53), United Kingdom (50), Canada (41) and Brazil (34).

 

“Year after year, AlmapBBDO never disappoints when it comes to creating outstanding work.  This year is no exception. In fact, Brazil should be proud of the number of winners they have, and the caliber of work they produced this year,” observed Barbara Levy, President of LIA.

 

AlmapBBDO leads the way within the Brazilian statue tally, winning eight statues at LIA 2018. These wins contributed to AlmapBBDO being named Regional Agency of the Year for South America.
