THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES TAKES HOME SEVEN STATUES AT 2018 LONDON INTERNATIONAL AWARDS

(New York, 5th November 2018) LIA, one of the most prestigious Global award shows in Advertising, Digital, Technology driven work, Health & Pharma and Branded Entertainment, today announced the winners. The 33rd Annual London International Awards judging convened over a 10-day period. The Juries, drawn from the world’s most recognized talent and presided over by industry leaders, viewed and scored every entry within their medium, ensuring that all the work was judged equally.

 

The United Arab Emirates brought home seven of the coveted LIA statues and attained two Finalists - 3 Silver and 4 Bronze. In total 705 LIA statues, in addition to finalists, were awarded from 40 countries.  

 

“Over the years, we have seen the United Arab Emirates win more and more statues.  This year, the work was not only creative but relevant to the people and the culture,” said Barbara Levy, President of LIA.

TBWA\RAAD, Dubai sees great success, with a total of three LIA Statues - two Silver and one Bronze. Three different juries awarded all the metal for the same piece of work.

  • Silver - Radio & Audio - Innovative Use of Radio & Audio for Louvre Abu Dhabi titled “Highway Gallery”
  • Bronze - Non-Traditional - Experiential for Louvre Abu Dhabi titled “Highway Gallery”
