Today, London International Awards, one of the world’s most prestigious Global award shows, announces its 2019 winners. 
 
Created for creatives, LIA has the highest caliber of jurors in all disciplines. Our jury rooms welcome the press, LIAisons attendees and LIA guests throughout the entire process. LIA’s Annual judging which convened over a 10-day period at Encore Las Vegas has concluded and listed below are the Statue Winners and Finalists for Israel.
 
Israel scores 14 Statues at LIA 2019 – a Grand LIA, eight Gold and three Silver and two Bronze statues, they also attained three Finalist.
 
McCann TLV, Tel Aviv was named Regional Agency of the Year for the Middle East and Africa; they were also awarded the Grand LIA for IKEA titled “ThisAbles”. Six different juries awarded Statues to this same piece of work: Design, Digital, Health & Wellness, Integration, Non-Traditional and The NEW.

•    Finalist - Digital - Weird Wonderful Work for IKEA titled “ThisAbles”
 
These wins contributed to McCann Worldgroup being named Global Network of the Year and McCann being named Regional Network of the Year for Middle East and Africa.
 
“McCann Tel Aviv did not only win Grand LIA in Design with IKEA ‘ThisAbles’, Israel as a whole had 16 winners! It is always wonderful to see new countries coming in and winning the highest honor.  It shows us that great ideas exist everywhere.  No one country has a monopoly.  Any country and any agency can win the Grand LIA,” said Barbara Levy, President of LIA.
 
Borja Borrero, Chief Creative Director EMEA & LATAM at Interbrand and LIA Design and Package Design jury president commented, “For the Grand LIA we chose IKEA “ThisAbles”. PoV Productions, Tel Aviv was awarded the Regional Production Company of the Year for Middle East and Africa being credited for work that won Leo Burnett Israel a total of three statues and two Finalists.

In total, 531 LIA statues and 196 Finalists were awarded from 39 countries with the United States leading with 242 awards, followed by Germany with 86 and the United Kingdom with 78.

London International Awards (LIA) is a global festival honoring creativity and new ideas in Advertising, Production, Digital, Design, Health & Medical, Music & Sound, Technology and Branded Entertainment. The awards, founded in 1986 by President Barbara Levy, began by honoring advertising in the realms of Cinema, Television, Print and Radio, evolving since its inception into 22 unique media types. It was the first truly international advertising awards of its kind to acknowledge all media and methods from all over the world to be judged by a diverse global jury.
