This special edition of Transatlantic, hosted by Simone Nobili, brings you Season 2 featuring the oceans of 17 new Jury Presidents!
Renamed Ocean's Seventeen in honor of the 2007 film, Ocean's 13 directed by Steven Soderbergh that was set in Vegas, this season was recorded live at Encore @ Wynn, Las Vegas, from 7th October to 15th October 2023, running concurrently with LIA judging.
In a room where red was the dominant color and casino chips were scattered across a coffee table, Simone used "The 7 Seas Interview" format to dive deep into the lives and works of his guests, bringing to the surface undiscovered stories.
Season 2, Episode 14 features Vera Portz, Managing Director & Partner at Tempomedia.
A producer who yearns to resurrect Oppenheimer and reverse his invention. Vera's demeanor may be soft-spoken, but the cadence of her ideas resonates like the beat of Childish Gambino's "This is America”.
Vera was the 2023 LIA Jury President for Production & Post-Production.
