Geet hails from a creative background of almost 15+ years of experience and works on a range of projects that combine design, advertising and craft in different ways. Geet is an award winning Design Director and a Creative Director, currently with TBWA India, and heads design duties for TBWA Design By Disruption. She is a passionate design specialist, but first and foremost an ideas person. She aspires to create work that’s utility based and is worth talking about by giving people a reason to care. She ensures that the agency uses its powers for good, steering and creating projects like Blink To Speak and One Mindful Mind, which gave birth to a language in fighting ALS whereas OMM broke taboos around mental health. Geet has won numerous local and international awards including a Cannes Lions United Nations Grand Prix for Good in Healthcare for Blink To Speak - World’s first eye language guide. She worked on a design project titled Dear 2020 and Lessons from 2020, an attempt to give a sweet farewell to 2020 which got applauded at Kyoorius Design Yatra 2021. She has been a juror at Cannes Lions, LIA, Dubai Lynx, ADFEST, The One Show, NYF Global Awards, Kyoorius Design Awards and many more. She plays an active role in growing and mentoring young women into future creative leaders in an area of personal passion. In 2018 she was chosen as Campaign Asia Pacific Women to Watch. She enjoys clever and subversive creativity with the occasional ‘shock value’ when required. She likes researching and theorizing to bring depth to her creative pursuits, but most of all she lives to experiment; She’ll rip, photocopy, soak, paint or even spit out her work if in the end it produces something interesting.
