Wunderman Thompson LATAM had a historic year. The agencies in the region received over 350 creative awards collectively including 8 Grand Prix resulting in honorable mentions such as Agency of the Year on New York Festivals, Epica Awards, Gerety Awards and MMA Smarties. Dany Minaker together with Sebastian ‘Patán’ Tarazaga are the creative force behind this mammoth year.
 
Dany Minaker is the LATAM Chief Creative Officer and the Global Executive Creative Director of Wunderman Thompson. He is also leading the creativity of The Coca-Cola Company for Wunderman Thompson globally.
 
In the last year, Dany and his partner Patán led the creative team responsible for creating the world’s first inclusive deodorant for Unilever, ‘Degree Inclusive’. The campaign received over 3 billion media impressions and won the Innovation Grand Prix at Cannes Lions, which was the First Innovation Grand Prix in Argentina’s history. But most importantly, the world has inspired a chance across the industry to make more personal care products accessible and inclusive.
 
Over the last years, he has created local, regional, and global work for many brands such as Microsoft, United Airlines, Telefonica, Coca-Cola, GSK, Unilever, Disney, Nestle, and Mercado Libre.
 
In the last years, their work won at the most renowned shows and festivals including LIA, Cannes Lions, D&AD, Clio Awards, EFFIE Awards, D&AD, NY Festivals, Isaac Awards, One Show, Sol Festival, Smarties, EPICA Awards, IAB, Webby Awards, FWA, ANDY, FIAP, Wave, Ojo de Iberoamérica, El Diente, Martin Fierro and +DIGITAL, among others. They won a total amount of 22 Grand Prix just in 2021 and 2022. He kept winning even more prestigious awards and mentions such as “Top 30 best creative CCOs” by The Drum.
 
He has also judged many festivals including Cannes Lions, London International Awards, Adweek’s Project Isaac Awards, Lisbon Festival, IAB, ECHO Awards, Creatives Argentines Circle and was the Digital and Mobile Jury President at El Ojo de Iberoamérica too. 
 
In addition, he is a sought-out speaker in the LATAM market where, most recently, he had spoken at IAB, MMA, Lebook, Cannes, and El Ojo de Iberoamérica. Also, he is a mentor at the Creative Liaisons mentorship program of the London International Awards. 
 
He recently moved to Miami with his wife and 2 children, Thiago & Tomas, to fulfill creative excellence for Coca-Cola.? ??
