REFLECTIONS FROM CREATIVE LIAISONS BY
2023 MENTEE, SOPHIE MCGOVERN, COPYWRITER, MULLENLOWE, LONDON

I’ve been in the industry for a little while now and have been fortunate enough to attend a few creative conferences, but Creative LIAisons was by far the most inspiring, informative and transformative creative experience I’ve ever had.

The fact that each of the speakers took the time to create presentations that were relevant to us as young creatives was very impactful. I genuinely feel like I gained relevant and tangible knowledge from every single talk. Not only did each one leave me feeling inspired, but they taught me how to be a better creative, which I appreciate more than you could ever know. Please pass on my thanks to each and every speaker.

Sitting in on the Transformative Business Impact and Creative Use of Data Jury was my favorite experience in Vegas and I won some money lol! The fact that LIA gives us the opportunity to peek behind the curtain is such an insane privilege that I can assure you nobody in that room took for-granted. Thank you so much for allowing and facilitating this. The things I learnt from listening to those judges discuss and deliberate will impact my work for the rest of my career and that is not an over exaggeration.

The other LIAisons attendees were very impressive. I learnt so much from them and feel really lucky to have been given the opportunity to meet them, listen to them and work with them.

I don’t think I can properly articulate how much this program mattered, both personally and professionally, so this thank you is definitely too lengthy! Regardless I hope you know how much your hard work and commitment to this program matters, to us as LIAisions attendees and to the industry.
I’m leaving feeling so inspired, equipped and determined and to make better work and that is a direct result of the time and effort everyone puts into this program.

Fingers crossed that I’ll be able to return to LIA in the future in some capacity, but until then I’ll be singing your praises.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
