The inaugural London International Awards Chinese Creativity Show was judged last week in Las Vegas along with the other established global LIA categories.
The show is the first global awards that recognises creativity conceived, written and produced solely in the Chinese language. The awards were judged by a panel of respected Chinese language jurors that comprised Spencer Wong (CCO McCann & Spencer Hong Kong), Michael Dee (CCO United Advertising Taiwan), Alice Chou (CCO Dentsu Taiwan), Chris Soh (CD & Head of Art Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore), Kin Chong (CCO Serviceplan Beijing) and Yiyang Hei (Founder & CD Sense Team Shenzhen).
Following the judging 64 shortlisted entries progressed to the metal round.
Publicis Shanghai has the most shortlists with 8. Cheil Worldwide Hong Kong has 6 entries that made the cut and ADK Taiwan, W Shanghai and Cheil Worldwide Beijing have 4 shortlists each.
Four agencies have 3 shortlists each - Amber China, Dentsu Taiwan, Havas Taiwan and Ogilvy & Mather Taiwan.
Forsman & Bodenfors Gothenburg, Sweden, McCann Health Hong Kong, Havas Shanghai, BBH Shanghai, mcgarrybowen Shanghai, Innovate Film Taiwan and Resn Asia Shanghai all have two shortlists each.
Agencies with single shortlists are BBDO Taiwan, McCaan & Spencer Hong Kong, Solva Shanghai, Artificial Intelligence Shanghai, Nanjing Han Qing Tang Design, 180 Digital Beijing, Shape Advertising Taiwan, Medialand Digital Strategy Taiwan, Hylink Digital Solution Beijing, Unique Ad Beijing, Reload Shanghai and Arkr Group Shanghai.
The Awards presentation ceremony will be held in Shanghai on November 30th. Special guest speaker is Neil French.
