THAILAND WINS 21 STATUES AT 2017 LONDON INTERNATIONAL AWARDS

LIA, one of the most prestigious awards shows in Advertising, Digital, Technology driven work, Health & Pharma and Branded Entertainment, today announced the 2017 winners. The 32nd Annual LIA judging was held at Encore at Wynn Las Vegas, convening over a 10-day period. The Juries, led by their respective Jury Presidents, viewed and scored every entry within their medium, ensuring that all the work was judged equally.

This year Thailand brought home a record 21 Statues – 9 Gold, 7 Silver and 5 Bronze. They also attained 3 Finalists.

In total 820 LIA, statues in additional to finalists, were awarded from 40 countries with Thailand taking home 3% of the statues. The top countries were United States (209), United Kingdom (95), Australia (70) and Germany (66).

Ogilvy Group Thailand, Bangkok receives four Gold, four Silver and two Bronze LIAs and one Finalist, giving the agency Thailand’s highest statue count in LIA 2017. These wins attributed to Ogilvy & Mather being awarded the Regional Network of the Year for Asia.
