HONG KONG TAKES HOME NINE STATUES AT 2018 LONDON INTERNATIONAL AWARDS

31 October 2018

(New York, 5th November 2018) LIA, one of the most prestigious Global award shows in Advertising, Digital, Technology driven work, Health & Pharma and Branded Entertainment, today announced the winners. The 33rd Annual London International Awards judging convened over a 10-day period. The Juries, drawn from the world’s most recognized talent and presided over by industry leaders, viewed and scored every entry within their medium, ensuring that all the work was judged equally.

This year Hong Kong brought home 9 of the coveted LIA statues - 1 Gold, 5 Silver, 3 Bronze and attained 2 Finalists.

In total 705 LIA statues, in addition to finalists, were awarded from 40 countries.

Paul Chan, Chief Creative Officer of Cheil Hong Kong and LIA Integration Juror, stated “It was an absolute pleasure to be a part of this integration jury, led by the one and only Mark Tutssel. Hands down, this is one of the strongest line-ups I've been locked in a room with. Thoughtful, insightful, critical and opinionated. It was a cracking year for work too. The top pieces were all incredibly brave, powerful and thought provoking. More importantly, they permeated culture and sparked conversations that led to great understanding, which ultimately led to positive cultural change. Kudos to all the deserved winners.”
